Swachh Bharat Mission

In order to accelerate cleanliness efforts and to focus on sanitation, the 
Prime Minister of India launched the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on October 2, 2014, to achieve the goal of universal cleanliness coverage. The aim of this mission is to achieve the goal of clean India by 2019 to pay as a tribute on the 150th

birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and improve the standard of cleanliness.
